December Auto Sales Preview: Higher Discounts Fail To Enthuse Car Sales

The monthly auto sales is expected to be subdued in December. This time what was different was expectations of a ‘’better than usual’’ month due to slower sales in the first 8 months of this fiscal year of 2025 and a favourable base month last year as well. Its also key to note that the month on month comparison might not be relevant for most segment barring commercial vehicles this month due to Diwali falling in start of November.
